Buying through the Jungle.lk marketplace is very easy and safe. All purchases made through our site are covered by the buyer protection policy. You can browse through various categories or search products/services needed. Simply add them to the cart and follow the checkout procedure.

Payment Methods

Buyers can pay using credit cards, debit cards, bank transfers/deposits, credit in your Jungle account, cash on delivery (CoD) and CoD escrow service. We cannot accept cheques posted to us due to extensive time lag.

Buyer Protection

Products and services purchases through Jungle.lk are covered by the buyer protection policy as long as you made the payment direct to us. Following are covered part of this policy.

  1. If a seller has not despatched goods to you full payment will be returned back to your account.
  2. If a seller has despatched goods but the delivery has not been received or lost in transit, you are entitled to a full refund or request another despatch.
  3. If goods received are damaged and signed as damaged you can request a refund by contacting us within 24 hours (or 72 hours under certain circumstances)
  4. If a seller service purchased has not been provided, you may request a refund in full or request the seller provide the service.
  5. If a seller service purchased is not as described, you may be able to receive a full refund, partial refund, a free service upgrade or make sure the seller resolves the issue after standard procedures has been followed.

Buyers are asked to follow the dispute resolution process using the My Account area of the site. Jungle.lk will investigate on your behalf and make an impartial decision.

 

Wish Lists

You can use this service to mark products and services for future ordering. You will be able to transfer items in your wish list to a cart and complete an order. By adding items to a wish list, you may also be able to get better pricing through other sellers and special discounts.

 

Secret Sales

Buyers can use this service to receive better pricing from sellers without knowing your details. All you have to do is add items on our website to your wish lists. In some cases you will also have a button to trigger a better pricing request. This will be more useful if you are looking to buy multiple quantities of the same item.

The seller will be notified about potential buyers. No personal details about you will be available to them. They will only know how many people are interested in a particular item. Sellers can discount the product or service to waiting customers. These will be different and personalised pricing and cannot be seen by users of the general site. Buyers may also receive multiple offers from various sellers for the same item. These offers will be time limited and once expired will resort to default pricing.

Buyers are not obliged to accept any offers sent by sellers through this process.

 

Communication

Buyers will receive several emails/text messages during the ordering process. These are used to provide best possible service levels. We encourage buyers and sellers to communicate through our internal systems which will also help us to protect all parties.

 

Product Ratings

A buyer will have an opportunity to rate an item and add comments once we know the transaction has completed. This must be purely related to the item purchased and not the conduct of a seller. By rating a product you will give other potential buyers credible information to make their decisions. The buyer will have an opportunity to display their own name or not against a particular rating.
